Chattanooga Zoo Giraffe Barn

Chattanooga, TN

March Adams provided engineering design services for a giraffe barn at The Chattanooga Zoo.  The barn provides a space at the zoo for the giraffes, allowing them to move freely and comfortably.  It also allows the community to view the beauty of the giraffes year-round through the indoor viewing area.

Tennessee Aquarium

Chattanooga, TN

March Adams provided all the engineering services for the expansion that consisted of a new 60,000 square foot “sister” building located east of the existing aquarium. The main features of the new aquarium are hands-on exhibits, such as touch tanks, a butterfly aviary, and a 500,000-gallon salt-water tank.

Hunter Museum

Chattanooga, TN

This project is a major piece of the 21st Century Waterfront Development plan for downtown Chattanooga. It has an added 25,000 square feet of new space and 20,000 square feet of renovated existing space. Some of the new features at the Hunter are temporary exhibit galleries, an auditorium, a gift shop, and a café.
