Civic and public engineering design services are provided by March Adams in various locations across the country. Some examples include, but are not limited to, municipal, correctional, historical facilities, office buildings, parks, and churches.
March Adams provided phased upgrades to the historic four level, 48,000 square foot Chattanooga City Hall. The initial phases involved upgrades to the existing chilled water and boiler system and later phases involved the floor by floor replacement of the water distribution and air handler systems. The end result was a completely removed building heated and cooled using a four pipe system with central air handlers and variable air volume dampers.
March Adams provided civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design for this City of Chattanooga project that included a stage pavilion, grand lawn, and revitalized mixed-use park roadway. The project provided a cohesive connection between Patten Parkway, Miller Plaza, MLK Boulevard, and Miller Park for use as one seamless urban park event space.
This project included a courthouse that is approximately 100,000 square feet, a parking garage, and communications systems networked throughout the facility. March Adams provided civil and mechanical engineering design for the project.
