Keller Williams Southside Office

Chattanooga, TN

This new office complex was developed for Keller Williams and consists of three large commercial VAV rooftop units that distribute air to fifty-four VAV boxes. The complex consists of two floors with spaces for general offices, training, conferences, and employee lounging. By utilizing gas rooftop units with electric heat backup VAV boxes, the entire complex is capable of providing year-round personalized comfort for employees while maintaining design conditions.

Shaw T-1

Adairsville, GA

For this 500,000 square foot building expansion, the March Adams design team started by using the most up to date BIM software to take a 2-D AutoCAD plan and convert it into a 3-D Revit BIM Model. The design included recreating existing building systems and structures in order to coordinate with existing conditions. As a result, we were able to provide higher quality and more personalized service. This project consisted of adding a chilled water rooftop unit in order to properly cool an industrial server room. A heat load analysis of the server room was performed and a server room setpoint temperature set in order to properly determine the required cooling load of the unit. The unit was then connected into the manufacturer’s existing chilled water system and provisions made for future expansions.

Parkside Nursing Home

Rossville, GA

A new addition was made to an existing nursing home facility that consisted of patient rooms and support rooms.  The support rooms included physical therapy, dining, entertainment, and a kitchen. In order to maintain ASHRAE space pressurization and requirements for nursing facilities, a dedicated outside air system (DOAS) was installed. Guest rooms were conditioned through the use of packaged terminal air conditioners. Outside air and room pressurization was controlled through the DOAS.  The DOAS unit was installed with an energy wheel to have a constant exhaust system in the patient rooms and reduced equipment tonnages and energy consumption.
