Multiple regional hospitals and independent imaging centers have retained March Adams to provide engineering designs to include new construction, additions and renovations of CT, MRI, surgery centers, exam and office spaces. The designs include the supplemental equipment structural supports, Chyrogen vent pipe systems, and the coordination of the vendor supply chilled water systems and non-ferrous metal room penetrations.

Erlanger Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center

Chattanooga, TN

March Adams provided civil engineering design for this exciting 90,000 square foot facility. Engineering services included site layout, erosion control, and storm water management design with an alternate for a bio-retention area. Utility service routing was provided that included sanitary sewer, domestic water, fire protection and communications. To help with the comfort of the young patients, the center houses two tow trucks for viewing/interacting, and one modified engine cab from the Chattanooga Fire Department. It also has a train locomotive outside the facility.

Memorial Hospital Campus Expansion

March Adams has provided engineering design services for numerous projects on this campus, varying in nature to include several building and parking expansions, utility relocations, and new routing for storm drainage, sanitary sewer, fire projection, domestic water, natural gas, and electrical services.

Hamilton Medical Center Expansion

Dalton, GA

March Adams provided concept planning and engineering design for multiple projects, including Anna Shaw Children's Institute and Peeples Cancer Center. A campus parking garage, Emergency Room Expansion, Endoscopy Center Expansion, and street calming for Broadrick Drive and Memorial Drive were also included in the design. Improvements included wider sidewalks, reduced vehicular travel lanes, curb bump-outs, improved crosswalks, and streetscaping.
